(Evolution Revolution of Japanese Vintage Cars).
March 2024-February 2025.

Travis Pastrana Rally Race Car
Renowned Motocross Championship rally race driver, Travis Pastrana, secured victory in both the 2006 and 2007 Rally America Championships driving this WRX STI. A defining moment came at the 2006 X Games National Championships when Pastrana, piloting the same WRX STI, triumphed over his Subaru teammate Colin McRae. During the final jump, McRae’s Sobe No Fear Subaru overturned, setting the stage for Pastrana’s thrilling victory.

Toyota 2000 GT (1967) Exhibited at LeMay Car Museum of America. SHINKA Evolution Revolution Japanese Vintage Car Exhibition (2024 - 2025).
The Toyota 2000 GT is a limited production mid-engine, rear wheel-drive, 2 door, two seat sports car/grand tourer designed by Toyota in collaboration with Yamaha, (manufactured between 1967 and 1970). Today, the 2000 GT is seen as the first seriously collectible Japanese car and it’s first Supercar. Sold @ auction between $1.2 – 2.4 million of today.

Ann's creative painting pays tribute to two renowned artists, Van Gogh and Hokusai, while also featuring the iconic Le Mans 24 Hours-winning #28 Ferrari 500 TRC (1957). Driven by Lucien Bianchi and Georges Harris.
According to art history and Van Gogh Specialist, Martin Baily say that the Dutch painter is noted as a collector of Japanese woodblock prints and an admirer of The Great Wave. Van Gogh may have been inspired to paint his Starry Night (1889) after viewing Hokusai’s The Great Wave (1829-33).
*As one can easily observe the similarities in color and movement of the two paintings.

Rennsport Reunion Porsche 356 Carrera GT Cabriolet (1959)
Original Painting Size 30” x 40”
Picture (photograph) was taken in 2015 at Rennsport Reunion, five held at the Laguna Seca race track near Carmel, California. The photo is of Bill in his car coming down a set of curves on the track named “The Corkscrew”. It was his 60th birthday. He commissioned me to paint it and requested that I should paint the car in Auratium Green, as he will be repainting his car to that beautiful color. I did some research and did a color match, but when light hits it – it can give out different green tones.
Bill is working on his Porsche 904 recreation in the Martin and Walker Workshop in June of 2024 near Andover in the UK, Southwest of London. The car should arrive in his shop on Mercer Island, Wa. this week (Jan, 27-31) ’25. This is the 25th 904 M&W has built and will be the first to use a 4 cam motor and 904 Transmission like a factory car. Ann S. is looking forward to paint this car as well, when the work is completed.

G.J.’s 1995 993 RS was imported from Japan, it is a “strasse” version with the Clubsport Aerokit. It is 250 lbs. lighter than a regular US. version 993. He loves it and it will always be in his small Porsche collection.
